Engine model. Serial number. Installation.

A matching engine family name does not establish interchangeability. Compare the serial reference, power rating, flywheel housing, mounts, sump, cooling arrangement and electrical equipment before agreeing on an assembly. Ask which accessories appear in the quotation; an alternator, starter, ECU or turbocharger may be listed separately.

01 / YOUR REQUIREMENT

What to send

  • Engine make, model and serial number
  • Rated power and speed, application and operating hours
  • Required assembly: long block, complete engine or engine with accessories
  • ECU, wiring harness, flywheel housing, sump and mounting details
  • Condition requested, quantity and delivery destination

02 / THE ACTUAL UNIT

Condition and inspection

For a used engine, request current identification photos, the seller’s condition statement and any available running video or inspection record. Ask whether hours are documented or simply indicated on the display. Agree what can be inspected, what is included and how the engine will be prepared for transport.

From requirement to quotation

Share your specification first. When a unit is proposed, compare its identity, current condition, supporting material and included items with the written quotation. Confirm inspection arrangements, preparation, delivery terms and timing before proceeding.
