Enquire about used semi-trailers, low-bed, flatbed, skeletal and other trailer configurations for your transport requirement.
Dimensions and coupling come first.
Compare the load dimensions, deck height, axle spacing, suspension and coupling arrangement with the tractor and intended cargo. A low-bed and a flatbed can serve very different loading needs. Record the trailer identification and confirm whether ramps, twistlocks, spare wheels and other fittings are included.

Condition and inspection
Ask for detailed photos of the main beams, cross members, deck, landing legs, kingpin area and axle assemblies. Establish whether structural repairs have been made and whether current inspection documents are available. Confirm how the trailer will be loaded or moved to the delivery point.
From requirement to quotation
Share your specification first. When a unit is proposed, compare its identity, current condition, supporting material and included items with the written quotation. Confirm inspection arrangements, preparation, delivery terms and timing before proceeding.
